Phil holds the Shell Chair in Offshore Engineering at UWA and is Director of the ARC ITRH, TIDE. He is a highly experienced offshore geotechnical engineer – whose industry and research experience spans a broad range of offshore geotechnics and associated fields, and who has strong ties to international bodies such as ISO, API and ISSMGE.

Zhechen’s expertise relates to offshore geotechnical engineering, hydrodynamic engineering and structural design, and data mining. His current research topics are relevant to offshore pipelines, cables and pile foundations, both for application in oil and gas infrastructure and renewable energy generation.

Ulysse’s research focuses on the characterisation of the seabed and Quaternary geology in tropical environments, through the acquisition and integration of bathymetry, seismic and geotechnical data.

Juliano is a Research Fellow working on a range of research projects that investigate anchoring systems for floating offshore wind. He brings 9+ years of academic and industry experience in both onshore and offshore geotechnical engineering. His main research interests are installation aspects of driven monopiles and the installation and in-service response of helical anchors.
