Mohammed is investigating the dynamic structural response of free-spanning pipelines over uneven seabeds using the finite element model in time and frequency domains to study the non-linear behaviour of the pipeline. His research aims to establish approaches to determine the fatigue life of free-spanning pipelines in a bid to avoid fatigue failure due to vibration.
